1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Credit Card Reset service provided by Balance Ninja Ltd (“we”, “our”,
“us”), you (“you”, “the client”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy
Policy, and any other documents referenced herein.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service.
2. Service Description
Balance Ninja offers a “Credit Card Reset” service which involves:
• Charging your credit card for a mutually agreed amount;
• Holding the funds securely until the transaction clears;
• Refunding the same amount to you promptly after settlement;
• Enabling you to use the refunded funds to reduce high-interest credit card debt during
your new interest-free period.
This is not a loan or debt consolidation service, but a tool to help you manage and reduce
interest expenses.
3. Eligibility
You must:
• Be at least 18 years old;
• Be a New Zealand resident;
• Hold a valid, personal-use credit card issued by a New Zealand bank;
• Be the authorised cardholder and not under financial hardship status with your card
issuer.
4. Fees and Charges
Balance Ninja does not charge interest. We charge a flat service fee per reset transaction, disclosed and agreed upon before processing.
You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or credit card provider related to the
transaction.
5. Risk Disclosure
By using this service:
• You acknowledge the risk of using available credit to manage existing debt;
• You understand this is a cashflow timing strategy and not a permanent solution;
• You agree that Balance Ninja is not liable for any adverse financial outcomes, including
but not limited to: fees from your card issuer, missed payments, interest charges, or
credit score impacts;
• You acknowledge that your credit card provider may, at its sole discretion, classify
the transaction as a 'cash advance' and apply additional interest or fees. Balance
Ninja has no control over how your issuer categorises the transaction.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Once a Credit Card Reset has been processed, it cannot be cancelled.
Refunds are issued only after the credit card transaction has successfully settled. In the rare
case of technical or banking failure, we will work with your provider to resolve the issue or issue
a manual refund.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Provide accurate, up-to-date credit card information;
• Use the service solely for your personal financial benefit;
• Not misuse the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
8. Privacy and Data Use
Your personal and payment information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use secure payment processors and data encryption to protect your information. We do not
share your personal data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service or where required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Balance Ninja Ltd is not liable for any direct or indirect
losses, damages, or consequences arising from your use of the Credit Card Reset service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
11. Treatment of Transactions by Credit Card Issuers
While Balance Ninja structures all transactions as standard purchases through secure payment processing systems, we cannot guarantee how your credit card issuer will interpret the transaction.
Some banks or card issuers may flag transactions as cash advances, which may:
• Incur immediate interest charges;
• Trigger cash advance fees;
• Affect your available credit differently than standard purchases.
It is your responsibility to check with your card issuer regarding their treatment of such transactions before using the service. Balance Ninja Ltd is not responsible for any charges, interest, or impacts resulting from your issuer’s classification of the transaction
